My Skin Routine!!

I wear absolutely no make up to the gym every day and my clients constantly ask what I do for my skin! I’ve always taken great care of my skin, especially as my mid 20s hit. Being as consistent as I have been with my routine, my skin is probably better now than it was when I was younger! Check out my top skin routine tips and watch your face glow! 1.) ALWAYS wash your face before bed. NEVER go to sleep with make up on. This is probably one of the worst mistakes you can ever do! No matter how tired (or drunk lol) you are, take the time out to wash your face real quick before hitting the sheets! 2.) Another thing I swear by before bed is use MICELLAR WATER to remove all dirt, oil, make up. It’s basically like a toner, but not as harsh on the skin. I use a cotton swab and sweep all over my neck and face. This prevents break outs, evens skin tone, and leaves your skin with a glowy, dewy finish! 3.) First thing I do in the morning to my face is splash it with water and dab with a towel. I then apply ROSE HIP OIL over my face and neck. I absolutely LOVE rose hip oil! The antioxidants in it combat free radicals that cause damage to the skin. It also has vitamin A and essential fatty acids that help fight wrinkles and improve skin discoloration, texture, and pigmentation. 4.) I use an SPF face moisturizer every day as well. MAKE SURE it has SPF in it. We get sun exposure just from walking to our cars to the store daily. SPF will help protect your skin from the sun’s harmful rays. This will help collagen production in the long run. 5.) For my neck, I use a special neck moisturizer in the morning and at night time. Your neck skin is very thin and has a different cell composition than the other parts of your body. Right now I’m using Nectifirm Advanced that I got from my dermatologist. 6.) Drink LOTS of WATER! 7.) What you consume is just as important as what you put on your skin. Eat a diet rich in healthy fats like salmon, avocados, nuts, and olive oil. Red/Yellow peppers, tomatoes, green tea, carrots, oranges, berries, pomegranate and other foods full of vitamins that are great for your skins as well. Eating an overall healthy diet is key to healthy skin! 8.) I get facials once every month. A professional facial stimulates that exfoliation process, keeping the skin more toned and youthful-looking. My new thing is HYDRAFACIALS which targets sun damage, blackheads and whiteheads, enlarged pores, acne, brown spots, uneven skin tone and early aging fine lines and wrinkles. 9.) I do at home masks once per week. I recently started using @AquaSpa masks for anti-aging and moisturizing which I love! Their after-sun aloe masks are also great for vacation! 10.) Getting at least 7-8 hours of sleep per night will do wonders for your skin. Also make sure you are changing your pillow case regularly.

11.) Last but not least, I work out regularly. By increasing blood flow, exercise helps nourish skin cells and keep them vital. Aim to sweat it out 3-4 times per week!
